current weather forecasts on the s2s-timescale (1-3 months ahead) have only marginal skill. this is not sufficiently reliable for actors across multiple sectors, such as the energy sector, agricultural sector, water management and insurances to take weather-related risks or anticipate on weather extremes. losses can be huge: weather-related power outages, energy poverty, famine and droughts are increasingly frequent phenomena in western societies. we significantly improve weather forecasts on the s2s-timescale by using artificial intelligence (ai). these improved forecasts enable aforementioned actors to make more informed decisions and thereby mitigate risks and decrease losses. as a vrije universteit amsterdam spin-off we have a strong grounding in climate science and ai and have a strong network within the leading scientists in this field. we are currently looking for innovation-loving customers within the energy sector to demo and co-develop our forecast. if you are interested or
