one million meals! it's a staggering figure. and yet the reality is, based on our predictions, that it's the amount of meals we'll need to provide over the next year, to people experiencing food emergency in sheffield. the year april 2020 to march 2021 saw us facing unprecedented demand. from supporting around 150 people a week from 4 sites a year ago, we are now supporting 1000 people a week from 9 sites. and we predict those numbers are only going to increase, as furlough comes to an end, and changes to universal credit and the end of eviction bans hit the most vulnerable in our communities. time and again, the people and businesses of sheffield have stepped up to donate to us, and support others in need. our heartbeat as a foodbank has always been people donating to others they will never meet. we cannot say thank you enough to everyone who donates food or cash to us. please know how much we appreciate your support! we still firmly believe that nobody in sheffield should have t
