the scwcc foundation supports nontraditional women students by providing life-changing opportunities through academic programs such as the karen possehl women’s endowment at uccs and the recently established scwcc foundation scholarship at pikes peak community college. we believe that every woman should have the opportunity to achieve her potential by overcoming barriers to success, complete a degree and establish a career that enables her to become self-sufficient. additionally, the foundation values giving back to the community and hosts workshops that introduce the experience and expectations of nonprofit board service. the scwcc foundation is a 501(c)(3) and accepts tax-deductible corporate and private donations. the foundation conducts several fundraisers annually, and you are invited to support our efforts with a donation. for additional information, email the foundation at foundation@scwcc.com and visit our facebook page.
