many of the universities and institutes of developed countries like japan, korea, and china require students to do research on different subjects. therefore, simec institute of technology decided to start its journey in the field of research in 2019, starting from the world forum on climate justice conference at glasgow caledonian university and glasgow university in the united kingdom by the president of the institute professor dr. md. monirul islam and chairman, engr. sardar md. shaheen. then a climate justice forum was created by simec institute, named “forum for climate justice, bangladesh” on the 25th of july, 2019. sdgs action research center was first established in january 2020 at simec institute of technology by prof. md. amzad hossain, ph.d.
