SDG Action Research Centre

sdgs action research center was first established in january 2020 at simec institute of technology by prof. md. amzad hossain, ph.d. (spirituality), ph.d. (sustainability). the institution’s fundamental objective is human resource development through appropriate education and guidance for the creation of a new culture of sustainable development, achieving sdgs, and long-term self-reliant sustainability. sdgs action research center also aims at influencing national policies on the localization of sdgs. the major objectives of the institute include being able to run courses on achieving sdgs and contemporary socioeconomic and environmental issues including the pandemic caused by the corona syndrome. as well as, being able to other outcome-based applied education, for students to develop skills for innovation, renovation of unsustainable socio-economic and environmental entities, for students to take part in action researchers and to provide employment and consultancy services, etc.
