sfr medical is the brainchild of london business school emba graduates, dr. johann grundlingh, ceo, and suyash shrivastava, cto. there are hundreds of thousands of victims of violent crimes in the u.k. every year. in order for them to get justice, the police need medical evidence to charge suspects with crimes (murder, attempted murder, grievous bodily harm, etc.). to date, obtaining medical evidence has been problematic, tedious and cumbersome, leading to delays, miscarriages of justice and more violent crimes, either as retaliatory actions or against new victims. historically, this process took approximately 2-3 months. as an nhs emergency medicine and intensive care consultant, dr. grundlingh experienced firsthand the impact of hospitals not providing medical assault reports in a timely and accurate fashion to the police. he and fellow classmate suyash saw an opportunity to streamline and optimise the process, resulting in sfr medical. two additional co-founders came on board in 2
