sjs awareness uk is a charitable company that supports people affected by stevens-johnson syndrome(sjs) and toxic epidermal necrolysis(ten) in the uk. these a severe forms of adverse drug reactions(adrs). sjs and its severe form ten, are life threatening skin reactions commonly caused by medications which affects the skin and mucus membrane in the body. it can also be caused by viral infections. the mission of sjs awareness uk as a charity, is to bridge the gap for those affected by sjs and ten through the provision of information and support from the point of diagnosis and through their recovery and adaptation process. we also work to raise awareness of sjs/ten as well as support research. our goal is to 1. support survivors and their families to overcome the emotional and psychological challenges they may experience following their initial encounter with sjs/ten. 2. raise awareness of stevens-johnson syndrome and toxic epidermal necrolysis 3. educate the public on the subject of adve
