at slk, we believe that every person has the ability to learn, and we believe that it is through learning that people are able to grow and flourish as individuals. further, we understand that the key to success is confidence, and we aim to build up and nurture students’ skills in a manner that both challenges their intellectual abilities and enhances their confidence and motivation. to this end, we understand that students require specialized lessons and guidance that complement their learning modalities and aptitudes, and we have seen first-hand that customized lessons support not only academic progress, but personal and interpersonal growth as well. when students gain confidence as learners, they in turn become more adept at self-directing their own learning. our programs are designed to improve students’ capacity to understand and apply what they have learned and investigated. our ultimate mission is to motivate and empower students in their goals to learn, build skills, and achieve
