at the simplest, we could be called a “men’s support group” – we are a group of men who come together each week to mentor and support each other. any man may attend the igroup – all that we ask is that a man who attends the igroup agrees to respect the other men in attendance, and the igroup’s underlying principles: within the igroup all that is shared is confidential, there is no judgement, and we are absolute equals. we are a group of men willing to be real with one another, to tell each other the truth about themselves and to face the truth about each other. the intention of an igroup is to integrate more of who we are into our lives by seeking to understand more about ourselves, the people we interact with day-to-day, and the communities we live in … and taking personal and individual responsibility for our personal choices, actions and emotions. the bibra lake igroup – the southern sovereigns - was formed by men who have completed the mankind project “new warrior” leadership train
