Early Childhood Council (Ecc)

the early childhood council (ecc) is a not-for-profit membership body representing the views and interests of community-owned and privately-owned early childhood education centres. with over 1,200 centre members, we represent half of all licensed independently owned centres in new zealand. we ensure our member voice is heard by regularly meeting with ministers and opposition spokespeople, and education policy decision makers. we advocate on issues related to early childhood education (ece), and advocate for quality ece services. for our member centres, the ecc offers benefits and support such as advice, preferred supplier schemes, tools and templates, professional development, and sector news and updates. how we value our early childhood education services, the centre owners and managers, governance committees, and the teachers, directly feeds into the learning outcomes for this country's youngest citizens. ece matters! find out more on our ecc website: ecc.org.nz follow us on facebook
