welcome to the ironman foundation! we're so glad you're here. last year, over 2,000 ironman foundation athletes created positive, tangible change in ironman race communities through grant funding and volunteerism. these athletes crossed ironman finish lines all over the world and though the journey may be unique, they are united under one common goal. from kona to south africa and ecuador to germany, ironman foundation athlete's join together to "race for more". in 2017, alone, ironman foundation athletes: - fueled the funding for over 1,400 local nonprofit grants totaling $1.6 million - stuffed backpacks to give school supplies and inspiration for 900 at-risk kids - volunteered at 14 service projects across 14 race communities join us in 2018. be part of this ironman foundation community. whether you are an athlete or supporter, there are great ways to get involved. check out ironmanfoundation.org to discover your 2018 ironman journey now. p.s. dreaming of racing at kona? w
