in greek, the word means “good”- the “good” that represents the beauty, order and rightness present in our world. kala project exists to capture the beauty of humanity that goes unnoticed all around us. the stories that our film team chooses to highlight are ones that expose the hope, the complexity, the curiosity, the suffering, and the triumphs of ordinary humans faced with extraordinary circumstances. we invite you to take part in these stories. allow yourself to be moved, challenged, or maybe even inspired. and then pass one or two along- there may be someone close to you that needs to hear a story.
