U of Arkansas System Division of Agriculture

the division of agriculture is a separate campus-level entity of the u of arkansas system. we have faculty at ua-fayetteville and arkansas state, as well as the state office of the cooperative extension service in little rock. created by the ua board of trustees in 1959, we are the research and outreach arms of the land grant mission in arkansas. the dale bumpers college of the agriculture, food and life sciences is the teaching part of this land grant mission and many of our faculty have joint appointments within the bumpers college. our mission is this: we strengthen agriculture, communities, and families by connecting trusted research to the adoption of best practices.
