U-Hac (Utopia Hills Arts Center)

u-hac (otherwise known as utopia hills arts center international) is a carbon-neutral wilderness haven for artists of all kinds to create, study, collaborate, reflect and recharge! a unique combination of school for the arts, retreat center, arts festival and artists colony, u-hac is currently in its early stages of development in rural maine. professionals, students, and amateurs of all ages and levels will be welcomed at u-hac for short or extended periods of time. our scholarship fund will be dedicated to providing financial aid on the basis of both need and merit. the ever-changing visiting faculty will be comprised of prominent people in the arts world. each will visit u-hac for as little as a few days or for as long as a few weeks, leading seminars and teaching private lessons, giving lectures and showing or performing their work. the cross-pollination of ideas and collaboration between artists of different genres will be possible at u-hac like at no other place.
