the uae space agency has been created to lead, regulate and coordinate the uae’s growing space sector. the agency will join the international space community in promoting space exploration and contributing to global scientific research and development. the agency developed its strategic framework to guide the execution of its three mandates dictated by federal decree no. 1 of 2014, which include: 1. developing the space sector 2. creating space policy and regulation 3. directing national space programs that will benefit the uae’s economy consistent with its strategic framework, the agency has identified priority initiatives that are critical to building world-class capabilities. these initiatives include cultivating a diverse and capable workforce and engaging key stakeholders to promote the nation’s space positions locally, regionally, and internationally. our mission is to organize, regulate and support the space sector in the country and enhance its position in this area. we plan to
