Uamuzi

uamuzi is a social networking platform advocating for youth participation in governance. it opens a virtual and secure space to bridge the gap between decision makers and the youth, to hold discussions on their needs and concerns and identify joint solutions through a meaningful engagement process. uamuzi is a swahili word that translates to decision in english. the platform ensures active participation through the tubonge feature (chat room) which engages them from every level of governance i.e. the ward, constituency, county and national level. tubonge is a slang that means let’s talk. uamuzi ensures that all voices including those of the less privileged and most vulnerable are heard and taken into account in decision making. one of our key goals is to become a more diverse and inclusive platform, offering a safe space for the youth to participate.
