Early Intervention Program
the early intervention program (eip) is a hiv rapid testing site located in the emergency department at the university of cincinnati medical center. eip seeks to reach those most at –risk for hiv infection and build awareness around this public health crisis. we offer patient-centered hiv risk reduction planning, informational materials for overall sexual and behavioral health, as well as, linkage to hiv medical care services if test results indicate (positive for) hiv infection. eip also offers walk-in hiv prevention and testing services that are usually available 7 days a week, 24 hours a day. it is best to call ahead to confirm that an eip counselor is available to test. please contact the number below to schedule an appointment or to speak with a counselor: (513)-584-0720
