ispe is an organization open to all students that are or may be interested in the field of pharmaceutical engineering, which typically includes chemical, materials, and mechanical engineering disciplines. our group is focused on providing members with an understanding of what it means to be a pharmaceutical engineer and is committed to connecting members with leaders and organizations in the field. we hold chapter meetings and activities regularly throughout the academic year including expert speakers and panels, green initiative projects, and social events. our guest speakers include academic researchers and industrial practitioners demonstrating new developments in pharmaceutical engineering and the application of core engineering principles to pharmaceutical design and manufacture. plant tours of industrial development and manufacturing facilities further instill contextual appreciation for pharmaceutical engineering and offer networking opportunities with regional employers. curren
