the burmese fund seeks long-term growth of capital and to provide protection against inflation and monetary instability while also maintaining a practice of socially and environmentally conscientious investing. under normal market conditions, the burmese fund will invest at least 80 percent of its net assets in the debt, common stock, preferred stock, convertible securities, rights, warrants, and depository receipts of companies involved in the natural resource, construction or service industries in myanmar. the fund may invest without limitation in any of the various natural resources industries including but not limited to; mining, mining services, processing, transportation, logistics, energy, currencies, construction equipment and construction services.
