our history started at the beginning of this millennium, approximately 20 years ago. with outstanding careers in the international business development area, alexandre utino, eduardo bissoli, renato casanova and sergio sanches were hired to develop the internationalization project for the company alpargatas s/a. we are the team that planned and executed the international expansion project for the havaianas brand (originally a flip flops brand and nowadays extended to several other product categories). between 2000 and 2010, the brand expanded its reach from 9 to 80+ countries, fitting people’s feet on the 5 continents, from anonymous consumers to celebrities and opinion makers. the last decade has put us on different trajectories and challenges. all of us followed our careers in business development, at large multinational companies in various sectors. the distancing did not disrupt our relationship. we have always been in contact, being on the side of friendship that we have always
