Xero vs Quickbooks Online

we use quickbooks online for payroll for construction industry customers because of its practical vat and cis reporting features but also for non-uk resident companies who pay their seconded employees in euro or other currency than gbp but of course have to report in british pound for tax. quickbooks online lets you report on the payroll cost in both currencies without having to calculate this in a separate spreadsheet file. however, xero has the ease in record keeping. one can keep track of uploaded files in the entry page and/or in a separate folder section and has an overview over all documents uploaded to the individual entries at one glance. xero's new way of costing with two tacking options makes it a piece of cake for any non accounts person to overview costs. but the traditional way of tracking project budgets that quickbooks online offers lets you do this in more detailed and professional manner.
