we're xforwhy, an independent graphic design agency founded in 2021 by kate & jamie saunderson. we specialising in ideas-led branding for the change makers, the believers and the doers, working with small & medium-sized brands & charities that offer an alternative to business as usual. we're small on purpose. being small has big advantages.

 every brief is different and every challenge unique.

 we expand our core team of two by pulling from a trusted and diverse global network of talent and expertise. that way we build the best dream team for your brief and budget. we don’t have a swanky brick-walled studio and a staff of 36. that puts some folks off, and that’s cool with us. we would rather your budget was spent on your brand, not the rent & the pinball machine.

 for us, being small means being flexible. it means adaptability. it means we can be far more personal.
