XFTP

in 2014 i wrote an ftp search engine which became the most popular engine of its kind through advanced network analysis technology, php, bash, powerful spiders, sphinx, and mariadb databases with billions of rows. sadly, however it became clear many users were bad actors, and that sensitive data was showing up- this combined with unusual traffic from sources such as iran & china often via tor, led me to shut it down entirely rather than continue to update the heavy filters. with xftp then i've come up with a way to leverage that technology for more useful and safer products. xftp operates internet spiders that are continually searching, monitoring over a billion locations for shared content. xftp provides major publishers and anti-piracy firms with data on where their audio, video and ebooks are being shared from and who to contact about it. there are 4.3 billion ipv4 addresses, and more hosts and ipv6 addresses. my goal is to monitor file sharing over ftp on 90% of all the ipv4 space,
