Xiamen International School

xiamen international school (xis) was established in august 1997 and is located on the southern coast of china in the fujian province. xis was the first international school in fujian to be authorized by the ministry of education to accept expatriate students. it is rapidly joining the ranks of the world’s finest schools by adhering to international school standards and by employing credentialed, passionate and experienced educators from around the world, including the united states, columbia, canada, australia, new zealand, great britain, spain and china. the school offers the three international baccalaureate programmes (pyp, myp and dp) across the years prek-12 to students from twenty-nine different countries and regions including the united states, taiwan, korea, australia, england, germany, singapore, hong kong, malaysia, saudi arabia, mexico, brazil and japan. xis is pleased to have had high school graduating classes since 2001.
