Xplode Magazine

xplode magazine is a registered charity based in bolton and operating across greater manchester. we train young people in media and business skills and they practically apply what they're taught in the 35,000 reader strong publication, xplode magazine. we aim to enable 12-22 year olds to gain and enhance skills to make them more employable. xplode collaborates with organisations such as o2, asda and domino's pizza to arrange training opportunities and a taste of the working world for our volunteers. we have a strong 'by young people, for young people' ethos which is reflected in the organisation not having anybody over the age of 22. xplode’s team volunteer approximately 637 hours per month which equates to 7644 hours per year. if these were paid hours, the value would be £98,760.48 per year. non-stop volunteering would equate to 318.5 days. we place a large emphasis on our team members to adhere to our mission statement - be bold, move fast and focus on your impact
