xtinction project | no pushing a guy hailing from boston is pounding dinosaurs, dead icons, and last night’s dinner onto your t-shirts. michael arroyo studied fine art at hamilton college and now maintains a way of living on pop culture and gooey paints. honoring the spirit of icons like marilyn monroe, keith haring, and barney, his artwork renovates the image of cultural phenomenons and also manages to tease us with big macs that are still mooing. these designs illustrate a life of bold color, fabulous people, and salty humor that speak for the funky characters of the world we live in. xtinction project is a unique voice of the retro generation and the fresh mind; an exclusive line of art you can wear created by michael arroyo. 5% of all proceeds is donated to the world wildlife fund to help build awareness of earth’s endangered species and to prevent the extinction of our beautiful planet.
