Xvi Pacific Games

in 2019, samoa hosted the largest pacific games in history. organised in a record amount of 17 months, the event picked up the name "the miracle games". it set new standards for large-scale events in the pacific such as being the first games to go "plastic-free" and had the widest broadcast coverage in games history. the experience demonstrated samoa's ability to successfully organise and host large regional events and showcased its innate ability to collaborate with a range of partners and stakeholders.
