buoyant was created with black travel, group economics and black joy in mind. we curate a directory of black-owned businesses for you to patronize during your travels. planning your next trip? we host group trips and travel events, too. in a perfect world, our business wouldn’t need to exist and you wouldn’t have to leave your neighborhood to buy from a black-owned grocery store, hairdresser, restaurant or even a nightclub. that world doesn’t yet exist, so in the meantime, we’ve also created this platform to curate black travel guides where you can go to find us: our music, our food, and our people being celebrated. we exist to help you connect with other cool black people during your travels. who knows? you might just find your next travel buddy, bae, or co-founder.
